Compressed Non-Asbestos Fibre

Compressed non-asbestos fibre sheets (CNAFs) are made from synthetic fibre, natural rubber, filler material, and dye. CNAFs are capable of meeting a variety of demands given their high resistance to compression, high temperature, and extreme pressure. As such, CNAFs carry an excellent ability to eliminate the need for asbestos. 


Here at IGS, we stock CNAF gaskets and sealants in a range of standard and non-standard sizes, colours, and thicknesses, depending on our customers’ requirements. All our CNAF materials are designed to perform in a variety of applications involving, air, water, steam, oils, acids, and general chemicals.

Rubberised Cork

Rubberised cork combines the resilience of virgin rubber with the spring-back action of cork granules. It is known for a range of material benefits, including good fuel, solvent, and oil resistance. In addition, rubberised cork has low side flow on compression, excellent recovery, and high resistance to various liquids and gases. 


At IGS, we supply different-grade rubberised cork gaskets and sealants for all kinds of applications, such as automotive, marine sealing, and heavy-duty industrial equipment. Our composition cork is generally used as liners for bottle caps, clutch facings, anti-vibration pads for machinery foundations, and thermal and acoustic insulation.

Graphite Sheet

Our graphite sheeting material is suitable for high temperature applications such as exhaust gases and steam. Graphite gasket sheeting is available with a plain 316SS metal insert or a tanged 316SS metal insert. At IGS we have on-site ability to manufacture full face, ring type and customer gaskets from our Graphite materials, along with supplying sheet material for the do-it-yourself jobs.

Foam Rubber & Sponge Rubber Gaskets

IGS also supplies foam and sponge gaskets that are precision-cut at our in-house manufacturing facilities. Although they may appear to be similar, foam and sponge rubber materials have different compounds, each with specific material properties and densities. 


We stock a large and varied inventory of open-cell and closed-cell foam and sponge rubber materials in different thicknesses, hardness, and densities to meet our clients’ requirements. Our foam and sponge gaskets are manufactured from open and closed-cell materials.


  • Open-Cell Rubber - contains open, interconnected pockets that allow the passage of air, water, and other chemicals when the material is not compressed.
  • Closed-Cell Rubber - contains balloon-like cells that hold nitrogen gas which prevents the passage of these substances at low pressures.


Sheet Rubber

Rubber sheets are vulcanised natural or synthetic rubbers reinforced with one or more layers of fabric. They are used primarily for industrial, residential, automotive, and commercial applications and are available in various thicknesses and widths.


At IGS, we can custom-make rubber sheet gaskets and sealants to meet the needs of specific applications. Our rubber sheet materials are widely used by different manufacturing industries to protect their products against vibration, corrosion, slips, noise, damage, and more.

  • Big Rib Matting

    Ideal for commercial van flooring and ute tray matting, a big rib is designed to give a non-slip surface while the textured back is meant to assist with bonding. 

  • Fine Rib Matting

    Ideal for toolbox tray matting and shelf lining in commercial vans and utes, fine fib matting is designed to give a non-slip surface. Similar to a big rib, the textured back of a fine rib is meant to assist with bonding. 

  • UTE Matting

    A durable and impact-resistant rubber matting manufactured from a blend of natural and synthetic rubber, UTE matting has a textured profile to give a non-slip surface. 

  • Anti-Fatigue Matting

    Anti-fatigue matting is composed of drainage holes that allow liquids to pass through, reducing the risk of slipping in wet areas.

GSA PowerBite

Here at IGS, we are now stocking a new selection of GSA PowerBite hybrid sealants and adhesives. Our ethically-made products have their own unique advantages and are free of solvents, isocyanates, and silicones. Our range of GSA PowerBite includes:

  • High Tack

    — A high-quality professional adhesive with an extremely high initial tack based on hybrid technology, high tack cures under influence of humidity to form a durable elastic rubber. High Tack is only available in White 290ml cartridges.

  • Bond & Seal

    — A high-quality professional universal sealant and adhesive based on hybrid technology, bond & seal cures under influence of humidity to form a durable elastic rubber. Our Bond & Seal is available in White, Grey, and Black in 290ml cartridges.

  • All-in-One Seal

    — A perfect paintable solution for the interior and exterior, this high-quality hybrid sealant has many uses. It is ideal for use on almost all surfaces, in connection joints and dilatation joints, and as top seal glazing joints. All-in-One Seal is only available in White in 290ml cartridges.

  • GSA Proseal 500

    — This is a one-part, 100% oxime, neutral curing adhesive/sealant containing anti-fungicide to prevent mould growth. It is an easy-to-use silicone designed for general-purpose glazing and sealing applications where long-term reliability is required.


    GSA Proseal 500 is available in Translucent, White, Almond Ivory/Paperbark, Alabaster/Classic Cream, Beige, Black/Nightsky, Bronze, Brown, Charcoal/Monument, Grey, Mid Grey/Shale Grey, Tile Grey/Surfmist, Off White, Pewter/Ironstone, Stone, and Taupe in 300gm cartridges.

  • Cyanoacrylates

    Chemtools 8401 is a general-purpose instant adhesive ideal for bonding rough, porous, and acidic surfaces including wood, cardboard, balsa wood, rubbers, plastics, metals, and leather, among others. It is also widely used in a large variety of industrial manufacturing and repair applications. 


    Here at IGS, our Cyanoacrylates meet military specification MLLA 46050 Type II Class II. Our products include:

    • 8414 Modified Ethyl Cyanoacrylate
    • 8406 Wicking Grade Cyanoacrylate
    • 8435 Clear Rubber Toughen Instant Adhesive

  • Structural Adhesives

    Chemtools 8-300 is an all-purpose, high-strength structural adhesive that offers excellent adhesion to a wide variety of thermoplastics, thermosets, composites and metal surfaces. This adhesive combines high strength and stiffness with the ability to adhere to difficult-to-bond surfaces.

  • Cold Vulcanising Adhesives

    IGS carries cold vulcanising adhesives primarily designed for bonding in a variety of applications, as well as for bonding rubber to a variety of other materials. CVAs are available in:

    • TRS 4004 - two-part Neoprene-based cold vulcanising adhesive
    • TRS 5005 Top Tack - one-part Neoprene-based cold vulcanising adhesive.
